Logo Lockup Generator

The logo lockup generator allows you to create customized lockups for your department, division, office or center. Please note: at this time, we do not suggest creating "personal" logos or using this tool to create email signatures. We do, however, plan to launch tools for that very soon!

After you enter your text and choose your accent color, you will receive an email with PNG and PDF files as well as some usage guidelines.

  • PNG files are for online use, while PDF files are best for print. If you are working with an outside print vendor, let us know and we can ensure they have our brand and licensing guidelines.
  • Files named KO are "knock out" meaning white text on a transparent background. These are useful if you have a colored, textured or photographic background.
  • You can visit our brand website for Bentley logos or wordmarks without any custom information.

Logo Generator Instructions:

  1. Enter your Bentley email address.
    • This is the email were your logo package will be sent to.
    • You will be able to forward the logo email to others on your team or, you can enter their email address here to have it sent directly to them.
  2. Enter your division, department, office or center name.
    • Please use your official name (the one in Workday). You do not need to add "Bentley" or "University" to your name as it is built into the logo itself.
    • If you are using a department, office or center, you should probably NOT also include division. (Hint: If you have to add a comma or have more than one "and," you may want to revisit.)
    • Do not use & or other symbols. Our standard is to spell out "and" which keeps everything consistent.
    • Make sure everything is properly spelled.
    • Please do NOT include your location (e.g., RAU 204, MAI 007) or other contact information.
    • Please do NOT create logo lock ups for people, events or non-official organizations.
  3. Select the shield accent color option that you would like.
  4. Click on "Generate Logo Lockup."
  5. Review your logos on screen for spelling and spacing.
    If you are having issues with the spacing, you can contact brand@bentley.edu for help. If you are not happy with the lockup, you can try again.
  6. If everything looks right, click on "Send logos to [email]." If you want to try a different color or send to another person, you can edit and then send again.
